Anxiety is contagious. When a student is anxious often times a teacher experiences anxiety because they want to help but don’t know how. Anxiety comes in the form of students asking for too much reassurance or results in chronic avoidance such as late papers or skipping class. In this workshop, teachers will learn how to identify anxiety when it starts and help students overcome difficult emotions in the classroom.
